SOCIETY OF VETERINARY PATHOLOGY IN AFRICA

The SVPA is a non-profit organisation as conferred by the statutes of South Africa under the guidance and management of the University of Pretoria in association with all veterinary organisations throughout Africa with which the University of Pretoria has a relationship. The purpose/objectives of the Society of Veterinary Pathology in Africa are to:

  • Advance the science and practice of veterinary pathology through research, education, and collaboration.
  • Promote international standards in the diagnosis, study, and education of animal diseases and conditions.
  • Foster professional development and ethical standards among veterinary pathologists, pathology interns, and laboratory technologists.
  • Facilitate global communication and knowledge exchange in veterinary pathology.

Advance the science and practice of veterinary pathology through research, education, and collaboration

Promote international standards in the diagnosis, study, and education of animal diseases and conditions.
